We are a non-profit service organization with an ongoing program for the collection and distribution of personal hygiene kits to the homeless and working poor.
We have found that in addition to the personal hygiene kits we provide to homeless agencies, there is another basic need that is not being met. Valley shelters are in desperate need of undergarments.
We sponsor an annual collection of new undergarments during the month of October, called “Undie Sundie”. It is kicked off on the first Sunday in October. Throughout the month, donations are collected and then delivered to any one of 50+ Valley homeless shelters.
We may have a hamper full of undergarments, but that’s not the case for most of the Valley’s homeless. Undergarments are the number one clothing item needed by the homeless. Please help fill their hampers by donating packages of underwear, undershirts, socks or bras for a homeless family in need. For sanitary reason, new only please. Men’s items are the most needed.
